We had a great time continuing our annual participation in Habitat for Humanity’s campus-wide fundraiser: Shack-A-Thon! Throughout the week, we constructed, fundraised, and manned the Shack 24/7 from Monday – Friday. Partnering with the Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson Scholars, we came together to build “The Founding Fathers Shack”. During the week, we fundraised for Habitat for Humanity by selling flowers, baked goods, and more! Throughout the week, we were able to raise more than $650 and helped collectively contribute to over $20,000 in weekly donations! Along with financial contributions, we were able to donate our gently used building materials to Habitat for Humanity so it can be repurposed and used for future projects. We’re super thankful for our hard working volunteers and dedicated supporters who make events like this possible!
