Some Franklins spent their Saturday morning at the Science Museum exploring the exhibits about North Carolina’s coastal ecosystems, geology, space, climate change, and prehistoric creatures. Our favorite features were the massive blue whale skeleton, the skywalk bridge between the two museum buildings, and the interactive exhibits in the research labs featuring live moon jellyfish. The trip was a great way to embrace our inner kid and rediscover our passions for science and exploration. The event overall was very relaxed and we all just wandered around, which was perfect.
